Reviews:

”The songs do flow with a sense of purpose and each one is beautifully produced ‘Ballygan’ particularly affecting with its tablas and haunting female refrain. The vocals pushed to the front and the melancholy and loss resting on the repeated guitar motif. Lovely” Americana-uk

"very cool and smooth vocals... great, pretty dramatic. Good stuff" adriandenning.co.uk

"John Graham Leslie evokes images, just as the album title suggests (e.g. "The River"). But he is also able to bring a story to the point ("The Ballad of Vincent Rose"). Give it a try, genre fans shouldn't be disappointed." Folk World
